Mr. Young
Mr. Young is the 6th and 7th Silver Special Education Resource teacher here at MMS, this is his first year at MMS. Mr. Young Northern attended Northern Illinois University for both his bachelor of science and his LBS1 Licensure Special Education and Teaching. As a Resource teacher, Mr. Young will provide two types of services daily to meet the needs of his students. First is push in support ( entering students in their core classes of Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies and working collaborating with both 6th and 7th silver core teachers) second form of support consists of pulling students out during our Enrichment/Intervention block. This is a great opportunity to connect and work closely with students on their IEP goals and provide targeted instruction in a small group setting.
Mr. Young lives in Woodstock with his wife, two children and two dogs, he enjoys everything Wisconsin has to offer with the exception of the Green Bay Packers, that is a line he just can't cross, it is Chicago Bears all the way! Mr. Young also enjoys all types of music, and watching crime, paranormal and history shows.
